On Saturday, March 6, 2010, WEC heads to Columbus, Ohio with a stacked card headlined by a world bantamweight title fight between champion Brian Bowles and number one contender Dominick Cruz. What’s more, WEC’s first trip to Columbus features the return of former bantamweight champion Miguel Angel Torres, as well as the comeback of former UFC® lightweight titleholder Jens Pulver.

WEC 38: Varner vs. Cerrone was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting on January 25, 2009. It aired live on the Versus Network. In the main event WEC Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner defended his title against number one contender and undefeated Donald Cerrone. Also featured on the card was a rematch between former WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber and Jens Pulver.

WEC 40: Torres vs. Mizugaki was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting on April 5, 2009 at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois. The event aired live on the Versus Network.

WEC 34: Faber vs. Pulver was a mixed martial arts event held by World Extreme Cagefighting that took place on June 1, 2008 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The main event, announced on WEC 33, was a bout between Jens Pulver and Urijah Faber for WEC Featherweight Championship. WEC 34 was aired live on Versus.

UFC 269: Oliveira vs. Poirier was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on December 11, 2021, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States. A UFC Lightweight Championship bout between current champion Charles Oliveira and former interim champion Dustin Poirier served as the event headliner.

UFC 259: Błachowicz vs. Adesanya was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on March 6, 2021 at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States. The event was the first time that Zuffa has hosted an event in Arizona. This was the final WEC event before merging with UFC in 2011.

WEC 26: Condit vs. Alessio was the second mixed martial arts event held by the World Extreme Cagefighting under Zuffa management. The event was held on March 24, 2007. WEC 26 hosted three title fights on March 24. The first of the title fights was for the WEC Bantamweight Title, between challenger, Chase Beebe and champion, Eddie Wineland. The second of the title fights was for the WEC Featherweight Title, between challenger, Dominick Cruz and champion, Urijah Faber. The final title fight was for the vacant WEC Welterweight Title, between Carlos Condit and John Alessio.
