Dionicio Castellanos Torres is a Mexican professional wrestler best known by the ring name Psicosis. He currently works for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración under the ring name Nicho el Millonario, as a new Psicosis took over the former name. Castellanos has performed for World Wrestling Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and Xtreme Pro Wrestling as well as a variety of Mexican and American independent promotions. He was the shortest reigning WCW Cruiserweight Champion with a reign that lasted less than an hour.

ECW One Night Stand (2005) was a professional wrestling PPV event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was held on June 12, 2005 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, New York.The main event was a tag team match between The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von) and the team of Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman. Two of the matches on the undercard were Chris Benoit versus Eddie Guerrero, and Mike Awesome versus Masato Tanaka. Rob Van dam, who had proposed the idea to Vince McMahon, could not compete due to injury but would go on to headline the 2006 event against John Cena.

The World Wrestling Peace Festival was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki, which took place on June 1, 1996 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California. The event was organized by Inoki to promote world peace with an interpromotional event involving major promotions from around the world. Forty wrestlers from six countries ended up taking part in the event. Inoki's home promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), as well as smaller independent groups, represented Japan, while World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) took part on behalf of the United States. Both of Mexico's top promotions Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) participated in the event, which was considered unlikely by many in the industry given their own heated rivalry.

Royal Rumble (2006) was the nineteenth annual Royal Rumble PPV. No Way Out (2006) was the eighth annual No Way Out professional PPV and was presented by Subway. It took place on February 19, 2006 at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland and was a SmackDown! brand-exclusive event. The main event saw Kurt Angle defend his World Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker. One of the predominant matches on the card was Randy Orton versus Rey Mysterio for Mysterio's world championship match at WrestleMania 22. Another primary match on the undercard was Booker T versus Chris Benoit for the WWE United States Championship.

The middle entry in this year's three TripleMania shows, following April's TripleMania XXXI: Monterrey, and ahead of August's TripleMania XXXI: Mexico City, the show is set to take place in Tijuana's Estadio Chevron, formerly known as Tijuana National Stadium. It will be headlined by AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo defending his title against former champion Kenny Omega.

Triplemanía VIII was the eighth Triplemanía professional wrestling show promoted by AAA. The show took place on July 5, 2000 in Tokyo, Japan. It was only the second show to take place outside Mexico and the first show to take place in Japan. The Main event featured an Eight-man "Atómicos" tag team match which saw AAA regulars team up with various Japanese wrestlers. The team of Octagón, Jushin Thunder Liger, Latin Lover, and El Alebrije took on Cibernético, Cima, Abismo Negro, and Electroshock.
