A wild tale of mistaken identity set during the Nazi occupation of Greece and starring the great Thanasis Vengos. Thanasis is called upon, during the Occupation, to testify at the trial of a tavern owner accused of serving cat meat to his customers. He too is accused of perjury and imprisoned with some resistance fighters. The resistance fighters escape, but Thanasis remains in his cell. He is accused of being Ivan, the notorious ringleader of certain revolutionaries.

A successful building constructor learns that his deceased wife and a famous singer are like two peas in a pod, and enlists her help to pose as his wife for the sake of his little daughter.

A tough sailor, Fotis, returns to Greece to marry his beloved and to settle certain inheritance issues with his twin brother Fifis, who is an effeminate artist. Their striking resemblance will upset the lives of both of them equally.

Two itinerant actress, the Vlakometros and Poniridis, arrive at Adira, a city of ancient Greece groaning under the despotic rule of the tyrant Hippias, to give a performance. Because Vlakometros is identical to Hippias, the dissident intellectuals will try to use it to overthrow the tyrant. A series of incredible comedic misunderstandings and unexpected will follow in this brilliant political satire, which had experienced serious problems with censorship when the Junta was.

An active building contractor hires a failed private detective, Pantelis. His mission is to sabotage her competitor, Bastounas, who is planning to build a hotel complex. When Bastounas forgets the suitcase with the money for the purchase of the land on which the hotel will be built, Pantelis will do everything he can to delay his secretary, who is responsible for delivering the money to him.

Rena, a dynamic woman who looks up to Margaret Thatcher, decides to fix the problems she sees around her, in Athens and Greece in general. When the president of state television gives her the opportunity to host a show and express her views, she takes advantage of the offer. She takes to the streets and, with the help of a cameraman, attempts to document the wrongdoings of the country.

A newlywed man who has just completed his national service, Alekos Stathakis, is trying to get over his class' misery, but doesn't have the necessary "equipment". He conceives an ambitious plan and submits it to a great concrete factory. He seems to believe that success is just around the corner and shares his illusion with his wife and his father. When his plan is rejected by the company, he keeps it to himself, making things even worse. He keeps leaving home to seemingly go to work and wanders to no purpose in Athens. He watches the world around him without really seeing anything, until a fatal accident ends his tragedy

Dinos, the sole survivor of a group of saboteurs who were exterminated by the Germans for treason, finds refuge in the house of a crippled girl. She hides him in the basement and, falling in love with him, keeps him prisoner without telling him that the war is over, not wanting to lose him. When Dinos manages to escape from the basement, he faces the bitter reality. His girlfriend doesn't care for him, his friends died in the Occupation, and the one who betrayed the group was a fellow soldier. He decides to return to the basement and the girl who really loved him.

A barber takes on the household chores and caring for the baby, since his wife sings in nightclubs and is constantly busy. His hardship touches the heart of the neighborhood baker, who gives her consent for the barber's nephew to marry her daughter.
