Ana tries to spend a normal vacation, but the difficult relationship with her children, whom she tries to protect from the instability and violence in a country on the verge of economic and social debacle, overwhelms her to the point of exhaustion. She doubts whether to stay or start from scratch away, although she is still waiting for the arrival of Carlos, exiled in East Germany
A woman returns to an old building to reminisce. Memories of the place guide her and she plays hide and seek with her memories. Nothing is what it seems. The passageways can be playgrounds for children; the railings, songs; and the windows, opportunities for love. She searches for the mystery that binds her to the Central Building.
