After nearly drowning in a lake, a young girl develops an abnormal fear of water and is plagued by visions of a mysterious dark figure. A year later, in an attempt to cure her phobia and visions, her skeptical friends stage a séance and subject her to a bathtub experiment, unwittingly summoning the dark figure into the world.

A recovering alcoholic, with a gambling addiction, has burned most of his bridges in the east end of the city where he lives. He has a sobering moment when he realizes that his estranged daughter is about to turn 16, and he wants back into her life. The road blocks he faces along the way are, his ex-wife, his criminal past, and his inner demons.

Given up for dead, Patrick Farley (Lucky 7) returns home to pay a gambling debt to the mob but finds himself framed for murder.

A video file is found on a hard drive, containing footage of a man known as "Number 3". He is suspected of having a surgically inserted "death's head" coin in his body as he is monitored by security cameras to track physical and mental changes. The coin is rumored to be forged from WW II death's head rings, said to contain the souls of the soldiers that wore them. These coins were surgically inserted into "patients" to test the efficacy of the lore.

Affable hit man Melvin Smiley is constantly being scammed by his cutthroat colleagues in the life-ending business. So, when he and his fellow assassins kidnap the daughter of an electronics mogul, it's naturally Melvin who takes the fall when their prime score turns sour. That's because the girl is the goddaughter of the gang's ruthless crime boss. But, even while dodging bullets, Melvin has to keep his real job secret from his unsuspecting fiancée, Pam.
