This picture is a mixture of musical, adventure, science fiction and comedy with the popular singer Bobbejaan Schoepen and several famous Flemish actors.

A Flemish bourgeois family in 1920 is dominated by three wealthy aunts who constantly threaten to disinherit them. When their daughter Eggers falls in love with the gentleman farmer Flack, a bon vivant, the aunts want to quell this passion by any means necessary.

1989. Hugo (Michael Pas) is in his first master's year economics. At the same time he is training for the 110 meter hurdles. And he has another sport: chasing girls. But when his latest catch (Antje De Boeck) suddenly disappears, he's obsessively starts looking for her. She seems to have ended up in an idyllic, utopian countryhouse.

The film follows the spirited press photographer Jo Markus (played by Denise De Weerdt), who works for an Antwerp weekly magazine. Nicknamed "The Princess" because of her aristocratic mother, she teams up with two bumbling friends (De Woodpeckers, Jef and Cois Cassiers) to not only bring a gang of thieves to justice but also discover love along the way..
