Farmer Al Falfa and his dog try to have a private picnic, but Heckle & Jeckle decide to freeload. The usual hijinks ensue as the farmer and his dog try to get rid of the magpies. Eventually, the farmer gives them a stick of dynamite disguised as a hot dog. As they try to roast it, the farmer drives away in his car to avoid the explosion, but Heckle & Jeckle throw the dynamite into their car.
A movie producer is searching for a new sensation, even to going overseas. He is unsuccessful, until one day when his hat is blown off, and is retrieved by a suave, singing cat with obvious star potential.
Grateful Gus, a happy-go-lucky panhandler, puts the touch on a bank executive who is hastily absconding with the bank's liquid assets. The banker gives Gus a ten-dollar bill, and Gus is so filled with gratitude that he sticks closer to the embezzler than glue, no matter where the robber goes. This eventually causes the apprehension of the worn-out robber. A policeman gives Gus a reward and Gus then turns his grateful attention to him.
A Russian matchmaker tries to find a wife for a space alien who has landed in the neighborhood.
James is a secret agent who is incredibly clumsy. Yet, no matter how many mistakes he makes in his efforts to capture the bad guy, he winds up bagging the criminal.

The Chief sends James Hound to investigate the apartment complex the villain Professor Mad has open to the public for free. James gets a room and finds nothing suspicious until he discovers that the apartment was really a rocket in disguise, intending to kidnap everyone in the building and enslave them for an outer space amusement park. James eventually defeats the villain and safely lands the apartment in a middle of an airport runway. The Chief congratulates Agent Hound for a successful mission and gives him the apartment as a reward. Unfortunately, James has trouble sleeping due to the noisy airplanes taking off by his window.
James Hound is sent to a deserted island to break up a group of evil voodoo worshippers.
The King has his valuable jewel collection stolen. James Hound is called in to find the thief and have the jewels returned.
