Live Open Air at Wacken 2022 Germany

At the end of 2021, Powerwolf - the most successful German metal band to date - fascinated with a streaming event of unprecedented dimensions. Those who thought they had seen everything in the live sector were instantly proven wrong with unmatched audio production and visuals that can only be described as simply breathtaking. The concept of The Monumental Mass - A Cinematic Metal Event was conjured by Powerwolf mastermind Matthew Greywolf, who is also involved in the screenplay, while Jörg Michael is responsible for the cinematic production. The artwork was once again created by Zsofia Dankova, with audio production, mixing and mastering by Kristian Kohle Bonifer.

In 2017, it was impossible to qualify the members of Powerwolf as young Cubs. Indeed, the group now enjoys a solid reputation, in studio as in album. A recognition gained thanks to a great regularity of writing and particularly entertaining shows. Faced with this success, some critics even see in Powerwolf the future of heavy metal.

The Metal Mass Live" contains three complete live shows with which you can enjoy the irresistible hooklines and great metal hymns of POWERWOLF with live recordings from the Masters Of Rock and Summer Breeze festivals, as well as the Oberhausen gig from the "Wolfsnächte" tour. Apart from that, all the previously released video clips and two documentaries are included.
