The Zabiak family, which has not seen each other for many years, despite the war, is gathering for Easter at their parents' house.
Two sisters come to their "shelter" for the summer. Here, at their grandmother's house, each of them is hiding from an important decision. One is hesitant about moving to Australia, while the other is trying to figure out her relationship. The old house, the overgrown apple garden, the warm evenings by the fire — everything seems frozen in time... But summer can't last forever.
Liuba and Andrii, two war veterans bearing both physical wounds and the invisible scars of PTSD, find solace in each other as they navigate the long road to recovery. Their bond offers a fragile hope for healing, but as they confront the lasting impact of trauma and the challenge of rebuilding their lives, their connection is tested in a quiet, deeply human struggle for love, strength, and renewal.
Following the retreat of Russian forces, Heorhiy and Yaryna return to their home in Ukraine and attempt to recover from the lingering trauma left by the conflict. In the unsettling form of a live grenade hidden behind the fridge, the director introduces the ghosts of war into a seemingly safe space as the couple's perception of reality begins to crumble around them. A defiant slap in the face to the absurdity of war.
