It was at great cost and sacrifice that the Serbian people saved 508 American and other Allied countries’ airmen from certain death, sending them off to safety from the improvised airfield in the Serbian village of Pranjani, at the foot of Mt Suvobor.

The film follows the story of Hadzi Trifun, a prominent Serbian merchant, who tries to keep the peace with the Turkish authorities, but also maintains his reputation and influence in Vranje, an important Turkish town near the border with liberated Serbia. While Trifun is preparing his two sons to succeed him as the leaders of the Serbian people, he is suffering not only from powerful Turkish beys, but also from his family. Inspired by true events, the film tells the story of Džej Ramadanovski, from his earliest youth days up to the great success he achieved. Although he did not have an easy upbringing, which he mostly spent on the streets and in a correctional facility, Džej managed to find his place on the music scene and become a part of the lives of many people.
