Directing
Daniel Park (also known as DPD) is a Korean-American producer, director and filmmaker, best known for the webseries "Ktown Cowboys".
For all intents and purposes, 2015 was seemingly a banner year for singer/songwriter Bobby Choy (aka Big Phony). His melodic and quiet songs had garnered him a following as he performs at SXSW while also starring in his first feature film. However, returning back to the States from living abroad in S. Korea - has he made the right decisions in life, professionally and personally? Is he his own worst enemy?
Based on the wildly successful web-series of the same name, Ktown Cowboys is a bro-mantic dramedy that follows a group of ball-busting, hard-partying friends wrestling with their evolution into adulthood. As their individual struggles come to light, the group of friends band together in Koreatown and through late nights at seedy after-hour soju bars, karaoke drinking girls and even a stint in jail, each emerges as a better version of himself.
The Kings Of Ktown is a stand up comedy special, filmed at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood, featuring: Danny Cho, Paul PK Kim, & Walter Hong. They drop their views on culture, race, family, dating, and living in Koreatown.
