A high school teacher finds herself on wild-goose chase to find a missing student that no one else seems to miss.

It's all part of the plan as four friends in southern California decide to rob a music festival. The only problem; someone else already has their eye on the money.

16-year-old Zoe enlists the help of her two grandmothers, one Russian and the other Turkish, for a school cooking project. As the grandmother's rivalry escalates, Zoe wishes she hadn't bothered to ask them in the first place. The need for culturally identity clashes with the kneading of dough, and Zoe soon realizes how important both of her grandmothers are to her - and that sometimes the way into people's hearts is through their stomachs.

Living in his car and hiding from life, Nathan steals a strange box from a shroom dealer and is pulled into surreal worlds that force him to face what he's avoiding-and choose between disappearing for good or finally living with purpose.
