They meet again in York New City, where the world's largest auction will be held. At the same time, the Phantom Troupe led by Chrollo also gathered in York New to steal all the auction items. The Phantom Troupe, commonly known as the "Spiders", was once a group of thieves who took the lives of Kurapika's entire clan, the Kurta tribe. Destiny intertwines like chains. Kurapika's eyes turn scarlet with anger and sadness. Constraints and Covenants. Eventually, Kurapika confronts the Phantom Troupe alone in order to exact his revenge. Will Gon and the others be able to guide the hearts of their precious friends to peace?
