Faced with the emptiness and lack of rational explanation for many of the problems of the contemporary world, it sometimes seems that the only solution is to take refuge in the instincts ... and instincts lead us to sex. At least this is the exit that find the protagonists of this story: sex as a shock to stay alive, the manipulation of others as a way to ward off impotence and reaffirm their personalities torn by loneliness. But the result is ephemeral and the attempt has unforeseen consequences.
Like the four seasons, the love history of four friends is recounted at 4 different times. One doesn't love her husband anymore, another is a single mother, the next one has an unfaithful husband and finally there is room for the shy spinster too.
After living in Madrid for many years as a teacher, Lucia returns to her hometown after her father's death results in the inheritance of his tomato farm. While fighting the community's racism toward the new illegal workers, Lucia falls in love with the farm's accountant, Curro, a man who shares her cause. The couple is forced to confront the racism of the town and as tensions come to head, they will have to make some decisions that could cost them everything.
Silvia (Cuca Escribano) is local police in a village close to a luxury development. She lives with her husband, her young daughter and brother Camilo, with Down syndrome. One day a girl disappears from a nomadic village that had settled around the village. Everything seems to point to Camilo as guilty. Shortly afterwards disappears again another girl the same age. Unexpectedly, Camilo is accidentally hit by a car and dies. Convinced of the innocence of his deceased brother, Silvia not stop until you find the real culprit of the crimes.

Argentine writer Camila Ponte is on a promotional tour for her first novel, which has become a real success. In one of the acts, Vega, a mysterious woman, approaches her and convinces her to go to a hotel. Camila is thought to be working for her publisher but in reality Vega seeks revenge and kidnaps her. The victim seems to accept the abduction, since between both a history of suspicion, distrust and also love arises.
