Azat, an Armenian immigrant selling counterfeit designer bags on the streets of Los Angeles, strikes a bond with a woman from his night school only to face the pitfalls of the American Dream.

A man and woman longing for companionship meet for a first date. Their sincere efforts to connect with one another are soon challenged as disturbing inner demons bubble to the surface, threatening to ruin the night not only for them but for everyone else in the restaurant.
