A group of drug-influenced lumpen teenagers from the suburbs of the city descends into the center where they do not belong, where they are excluded. They adopted a brutal method to seize rights that were not granted to them. Unaware of what will happen to them, cheerful and well-to-do university students are helpless in the face of this gun-wielding mob that suddenly raids the bar where they are having fun.

A young man, his wife, and their child move to Istanbul to start a new life. Since they don't have a home, the family starts staying with the man's uncle's son. However, the economic difficulties they face lead to the family being kicked out. The family embarks on a tough struggle to survive in this city where they are now on their own.

Gülizar is a young and beautiful village girl. Against her will, she is betrothed to a young man from her village at her family's request. Her fiancé goes to Istanbul to work in order to earn a dowry. One day, Gülizar's fate suddenly changes with the arrival of a new teacher in the village. Gülizar secretly falls deeply in love with the teacher, İsmail. They eventually decide to marry. However, the teacher's death in an accident shatters Gülizar's world. Her fiancé returns to the village with the dowry money after some time. While Gülizar endures the immense pain of losing her beloved without being able to share it with anyone, she is forced to marry her fiancé. Yet Gülizar has become the woman of the young teacher she loves. Gülizar's father is caught between tradition and his daughter, as according to custom, her honor can only be cleansed by her death.

Türkan Saylan, fighting cancer with all her might, continues to help everyone she knows and doesn't know with every last ounce of energy she has. As her illness progresses, her eldest son Çınar, who lives in Germany and is also a doctor, comes to Istanbul with Saylan's grandson Timur. However, when he arrives at his mother's house in the morning, he finds a group of police officers at the door and a crowd of journalists surrounding the house. A search is being conducted at Saylan's house as part of an ongoing investigation ordered by the prosecutor's office. Timur is upset by his mother's indifferent attitude, and he is also annoyed by his brother Çağlayan's attempts to soften the atmosphere. Though both sons try to get through the day without causing their sick mother further exhaustion or harm, Türkan Saylan continues to worry about everyone else affected by the situation and reaches out to help from her sickbed...
