Based on the well-known poem by Jayme Caetano Braun, Bochincho, O Filme tells the story of an old man who, together with business partners, evokes his memories of a picturesque episode of his past in Rio Grande do Sul.
Nadi is an android with citizenship, who earns the right to adopt two children. However, a sensationalist politician, brings up several controversies about the case, in order to gain popularity for his candidacy for Senate president.
Desire and guilt traverse the journey of Pássaro, the only son of the Tamai family, and Ângelo, the youngest son of the Miranda family and Marciano's brother. Living in a small town, Pássaro and Marciano were best friends as children, despite the constant tension that surrounded their neighbors. However, fights between their parents drove them apart and their friendship faded. Years later, Pássaro and Ângelo meet again at a party and become attracted to each other, experiencing a passion that defies prejudice and stigma. The relationship, however, provokes Marciano's anger and hostility and rekindles resentments of the enmity between the families.
