Acting
Actor cubano graduado de la Escuela Nacional de Arte (E.N.A.) y del Instituto Superior de Arte (I.S.A.) en la especialidad de actuación. Es hijo del artista de la plástica, Premio Nacional de Cuba, Ever Fonseca. Dentro de su corta, pero intensa carrera actoral, ha trabajado en teatros como: Contigo pan y cebolla, Mariana Pineda, La chacota, entre otras; en novelas y en series para la televisión tales como: Salir de noche, Destino prohibido, Al compás del son, El Conde de Montecristo, El tesoro del Mallorquín, ¡OH! La Habana). Se ha desempeñado como conducctor de espectáculos y galas artísticas. Ha incursionado en el cine y pertenece al Catálogo de la Agencia ActuAr.

Based on the life of Benny Moré, the film concentrates on a period in the early 1950s when Moré leaves the orchestra of Duany and starts his own 'Banda Gigante'. In flashback we learn of his success in Mexico. Moré is caught in the events connected to Batista's coup in Cuba. Also, he tours Venezuela, where he suffers the machinations of a vengeful businessman. After collapsing and being hospitalised, Moré swears off alcohol. Some years later, he encounters his old band-mate Monchy, fallen on hard times.
Gonzalo's life has been marked by the story of his mother, a Mambisa heroine of the war of 1895. After her death, he is sent to Spain. In 1931, he returns to Cuba to reclaim the family possessions and discovers the value of love and death, truth and lies, pain and hatred.
