Recorded at the Barrowlands in Glasgow New Year’s Eve 1983/4

With the untimely passing of frontman Stuart Adamson in 2001, the title Final Fling couldn't be more sadly appropriate. This two-disc set captures Big Country toward the beginning and near the end of their 20-year career. The first disc features a 1988 performance from an outdoor peace concert in East Berlin, shortly before the release of Peace in Our Time (and before the Berlin Wall came down in 1989). It's a straightforward, electric set played in front of a huge, enthusiastic crowd during the twilight hours. The second disc finds the Scottish rockers back at their old stomping grounds, Glasgow's Barrowlands, while on their Driving to Damascus tour with the Alarm in 2000. They may look older, but their chiming twin-guitar attack is as passionate and rousing as ever. Recorded at Glasgow's Barrowlands Ballroom, December 29, 1993, this surround sound (DTS and Dolby) and stereo DVD includes songs from throughout the band's career and features a mixture of highlights from their acoustic set and the full 'plugged' band.

In March 2010 Punk Legends The Skids reformed for the last time to play the famous Alhambra Theatre in Scotland. The gig was the culmination of a months retrospective celebrating the music, films and words of Skids front-man Richard Jobson. A sold out gig was caught on film by the team Jobson uses to shoot his movies. The result is a high energy performance that captures everything that was great about one of the best loved bands to come out of the Punk/New wave era. The film is inter-cut with an interview with Jobson on stage by crime novelist Ian Rankin.
