Based on the autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy who spent 54 months in prison following the Watergate scandal.

At the beginning of the American Civil War in 1861, delegates from Unionist counties of northwestern Virginia decided to break away from the Confederacy and form a new government loyal to the United States that two years later would be officially recognized as the new state of West Virginia. This historical reenactment was commissioned to mark the restoration of the Wheeling Custom House -- the actual site of the delegates' conventions, featured within the film.

Trilogy is an anthology film of three adaptations of Truman Capote short stories: Miriam, Among the Paths to Eden and A Christmas Memory. It was listed to compete at the 1968 Cannes Film Festival, but the festival was cancelled due to the events of May 1968 in France.
