The story of a forced march of the first proletarian shock brigade during World War II.
The plot takes place in pre-war Yugoslavia, and the protagonist, interpreted by Zvonko Lepetic, is Jefto, a prison guard who lives with his family as a tenant in a basement. The plot shows how, convinced that he is destined for great things, he betrays his family, a friend and subordinates everything to his vanity.
Social drama that explores issues of social justice in Yugoslav pre-war society. Marko, an honest, ordinary working man comes into conflict with the executive director in his company.
Coachman Bego, continuing the tradition of his ancestors, transports occasional passengers in his carriage. He hopes that his son will continue to drive a carriage, but times are changing, and a new bus route is introduced.
