Andrea is home alone. Dona convinces her to go to the party where Viktor, who Andrea has a crush on, will be. In the club they see Viktor with another girl, and with Andrea’s brother. When Dona asks Andrea to find out who the girl is from her brother, their friendship takes a different turn.

Maxim is an artistic examination of the unconscious, oppressed, forgotten and traumatic past, of the reality full of treachery and violence, which casts a shadow on the life of a young man, forcing him to kill in order to save, to kill in order to continue living, to run in order to get away from the shadow in which he exists. Maxim is a synonym and a way to confront the dualism of the awareness where the subconscious mind and destiny are the carriers of the story in the movie - alter ego.

"Makedonium: Dramaturgy of the Unfinished" is a collaborative film by director Teona Strugar Mitevska and artists Hristina Ivanoska and Jane Čalovski, based on the book of the same name by Ivanoska and Čalovski, which focuses on the story of "Makedonium", the most prominent memorial complex built in socialist Macedonia between 1969-1974 and reveals unknown pages of Macedonian history.
