A middle-aged Louisiana governor falls in love with a young stripper, which jeopardizes his political career and the radical policies which have made him a controversial figure.

Stripper Blaze Starr visits a nudist camp for a movie to escape her troubles. She decides to join them and for a while manages to keep it from her fiancé/agent but soon he grows suspicious of her activities.

Using the frame of an evening of vaudeville, eleven women perform striptease dances. Interspersed are four routines of comedians Joe Young and Gene Doyle.
