The King of Malabunt has won another war, after decorating himself and his three wooden marshals, he dismisses his army with a low wages. One of his soldiers protest this and is thrown into jail, but he swears to someday return and take all the wealth of the king.

Factory workers Yvonne and Evchen have their nose full of married men who appeal to them again and again in their home for a short adventure. In short, they decide to profit from this state: Evchen goes to her home with the willing men and puts her in a clear situation of which the then suddenly emerging Yvonne takes a photo. Then it says: 5000 marks or your wife learns about this failed side jump. So far, so profitable! But when the two women encounter the art hehler Domski in their bar, things get out of control...

The water sports fans of a cooperative on the coast finally want to acquire a seaworthy sailing ship. But at the board they encounter deaf ears. Only the chief accountant Irma shows interest in sailing and especially the leisure captain named Ali. Then a minister surprisingly his visit. Irma devises a plan to support the sailors. In order to vote the Minister benevolently, flights, a company sports community should be launched. The founding of a sailing section would be just right. But unfortunately, the Chairman Scheffel continues to be cross. He even wants to use the storage space of the sailors. Only when the minister finds pleasure in the spontaneously organised sailing trip for him, movement comes into the affair.

Berlin landlady Mrs. Klucke looks after the residents of Florentiner Strasse 73 like a mother, who could do with her help. When pregnant Brigitte is looking for a furnished room, she ends up with Mrs. Klucke. However, she has to make do with a spare room. At first Brigitte is quite disappointed that all sorts of residents and their guests regularly pass through the room, but over time she gets used to this situation. She soon comes to love the idiosyncrasies of the other residents of Florentine 73 and the motherly care of her landlady.

Brigitte is caught between two men: on the one hand there is the ambitious Klaus, the father of her young daughter, and on the other the sensitive Wolfgang, her flatmate, to whom she feels attracted. With the active help of the housemates, especially her mother Klucke, she finds out who her heart really beats for.

"Je oller, je doller", say the roommates of pensioner Otto Panke, because they often see him together with the young Manuela, who likes to invent "dream jobs" for her life and dreams of an "exclusive life". But for Otto, the noticeable sympathy for the pretty, quite professional woman is simply "soul kinship". And since both have an extremely large degree of imagination, they are special, extraordinary - to a certain extent "spider fix"! The problem of the two is that they often get into tricky situations that threaten to get messy and they get a lot of problems. But as is the case with good stories: in the end, everything aims at a happy happy end...

In a small town, everyone has tried to forget what happened shortly after WWII. That is, until a stranger finds a book that Jadup (Kurt Böwe) gave to the young refugee Boel (Katrin Knappe), who resettled in the town over 30 years ago. Painful memories about Boel and the post-war period begin to surface and shake up the whole town. Boel vanished back then and nobody knew why. Word spread about a rape and some tried to blame a Russian soldier. Jadup, the town's respected and popular mayor, remembers, though, how he mistrusted Boel and did not help her through this difficult time; HE didn't even notice THAT Boel loved him. Jadup's confrontation with the past gives him a new, critical view of his current situation and surroundings.

Russian soldier Grisha escapes from a German prisoner-of-war camp in the spring of 1917. He is caught and is to be shot as a spy. This decision is controversial. The dispute continues. Grisha is executed on the orders of the army high command.
