Fighting Back is a 1982 Australian film about troubled teenagers.

Raoul finds solitude in an abandoned farm called 'Hurrah' after the horrendous death of his girlfriend. His only human contact is a neighbour who warns him of envious locals who may have been involved in the deaths of the previous owners. One day, Julia crashes into his front gate. She is looking to escape her life and 'Hurrah' may be the perfect place.

An evil scientist, Parta Beno, who has been found guilty of imprisoning and reducing in size inhabitants of various planets. As punishment he is exiled to a remote asteroid, with the only amenities being a crude laboratory. All the specimens that Parta Beno collected were sent back to their home worlds by the World Council, except those few that the Council had no knowledge of, let alone any idea about the planets from whence they came. The hand-picked crew of 'The Interpretaris' were given the mission of returning these aliens to their home planets.

Clyde is a typical junior clerk in a public service office. He watches the budding friendship between two co-workers and he turns it into the permanent office joke. At the same time he plays out his own neurotic relationship with a bored and frustrated secretary. The cruel mass victimisation of the young lovers is carried to the annual office picnic. Office tensions are changed by the unfamiliar surroundings where the disappearance of the two lovers forces Clyde to re-examine his own shallow emotional development.

Ten boys and a dog are shipwrecked on an island in the Pacific. After a storm they discover another boat has been shipwrecked on the island. They make friends with two of the survivors, a nurse and ship's carpenter, but discover there are three other survivors who are ruthless mutineers.

Over the five days after a military coup, army troops arrive to enforce martial law and encounter a growing resistance movement.
