A Moroccan actor born on December 12, 1991, in Meknes, Ayoub Gretaa trained at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Animation (ISADAC) in Rabat and later pursued graduate studies in theatre. He began his career on stage before gaining wide recognition through Moroccan television series, particularly L’Maktoub. In 2024, he starred in Across the Sea (La Mer au Loin), directed by Saïd Hamich Benlarbi, which was showcased at Cannes Critics’ Week and selected for the Marrakech International Film Festival.

Twenty-seven-year-old Nour has immigrated illegally to Marseille, where he and his friends live a marginal and festive life. From 1990 to 2000, Nour loves, grows older and clings to his dreams, damaged by the melancholy of an irreversible exile.

مكاتيب (Makatib) is a social drama that centers on the life of Halima, a determined Moroccan woman who strives to support her family through honest work.
