When a Lupin impersonator is arrested for shoplifting in Tokyo, dozens of other copycats converge on the city to clear the name of Arsene Lupin III. The real Lupin is in town too, both to watch the show and to steal a mysterious item called the Ice Cube. But one of those impostors also has sights on the Cube. Is he good enough to beat the original at his own game?

Lupin begins his heist by stealing a newly-discovered Japanese cultural treasure being transported to Germany. During his attempt to steal the treasure, however, he witnesses the always-ambitious Zenigata's supposed "death," a plan hatched by a ninja clan who are also after the treasure. Can Lupin and his friends prevent the ninja clan from obtaining what they seek?

A strange disturbance in the World of the Living sends Ichigo and Kon to the Soul Society, where the Seireitei has been devastated by an explosion of reishi and Rukia is missing. Stranger still, none of the Soul Reapers remember Ichigo, and they think he’s the one responsible for the destruction. Now on the run, Ichigo is forced into a lonely battle in order to find Rukia and stop the real culprits!

The first segment called "Elliptical Orbit" is about a ship called the Flying Dutchman returning to Earth after an extended absence with a cargo of "protons" to be used for energy. A terrorist group with military combat suits boards the station they dock with intending to use the proton cargo as a massive bomb. The second segment, "Symbiotic Planet", is a story of two secret lovers from opposing sides of a conflict trying to build a life together.
