Moe grew up in strict traditions. Way is rebellious and free-spirited, born with defected heart, shutting everyone off around her so that she can die anonymously. They meet at the hospital when Moe is diagnosed with cancer. Although outwardly calm, Moe is scared of impending death, finding solace in a carefree Way. This odd pair are drawn to each other.

Ko Naing is a long-term sentenced political prisoner facing another case. After a forced divorce and additional 10-year sentence, he loses contact with his wife and children. After being separated from her lover Htain Lin during a violent crackdown, she unexpectedly reunites with her father in an ethnic revolution area, where they must reconcile their past while fighting for their future.
