A romantic drama in the Hungarian plain in the 19th century. A great love between the bandit and the poor girl, however the jealousy of Kitty the tavern keeper can destroy everything.

The fresh president of Hungary find himself in trouble with taxi drivers. The taxi drives are disappointed in the democracy and protesting against the drasticly raising gas prices. The drivers build blockades all over the capital.

Between 1993 and 1999, one man robbed 29 financial institutions in Budapest. Banks, post offices and even travel agencies fell victim to his crime spree. The police had no leads and no hope of finding him during his six-year stint. The only clue left behind at the crime scenes was the distinct aroma of whiskey. The media christened him the “Whiskey Bandit”. Never physically harming anyone, many began to eagerly follow his escapades through the media. A Transylvanian immigrant, who also happened to be a goalie for one of the city's largest hockey teams, named Attila Ambrus, was finally identified as the “Whiskey Bandit”. The police had finally captured him... or so they thought.

Two boys from bad financial situation join to a law enforcement organization because of a charismatic leader, but soon they realize how hard is to decide who is guilty, and who is a victim.

After a young soldier sides with a troupe of travelling actors in a fist fight that erupted while they are performing a play, he is forced to flee and the troupe decides to take him in.

The story is set between the two world wars, in an era when poverty and madness were rampant. Humanity and faith in freedom have failed.

Panni becomes the wife of the landowner Komáromi and thus the first woman of the village. Marriage only brings her wealth, she does not love her lord, her new family despises her, and she does not even get a maid from her former girlfriends. After getting injured in a fight, the steward of the luxury steamer Honolulu Star encourages Smiling Jimmy to take over the job of the beaten stoker and waiter, in exchange for both of their wages. On the ship, he meets Mr. Irving, who is incognito, playing the role of the Archduke St. Antonio, as he wants to get to know the "underworld" from the inside. They teach each other how to avoid being exposed during their few-day adventure, and eventually, they switch roles. But the real adventure is only just beginning.
