Sousuke Aoyama is a college student who suffers painfully from the loss of his parents in a traffic accident. He meets Kozan Shinoda, a suibokuga (India-ink painting) artist, at an exhibition. Kozan becomes interested in Sousuke and surprisingly accepts him as his disciple. However, Kozan's niece is dismissive of Sousuke and declares to compete with Sousuke for the "Kozan Award." Although Sousuke seemed uninterested in painting at first, he gradually becomes drawn to it by each stroke he draws...

Set within the Tokyo DisneySea theme park, the love lives of various people are told. Gakkun has been preparing for his accounting license exam. Nao Nanami works in the gift wrapping section of a department store.

Yanagi Shuji is terrible at being a monk, as he just wants to have fun all the time. After an editor of an occult magazine suddenly vanishes, his friend Chihiro and his co-worker Yusei set out to discover the reason behind his disappearance.

Erika Toda joins a law firm headed by Serizawa-san, on the first case she meets Enomoto Kei of Tokyo total security who unlocks Serizawa who has accidentally been trapped in a vault. Form thereon the trio solve 10 cases related to the locked room. Enomoto always makes a small scale model and thinks technically in terms of security and locks to solve cases, while Serizawa assists by hinting some circumstantial evidences. Serizawa is always ready to take credit of new found fame.

The story begins with an indiscriminate slaughter at a cafe frequented by young people. Security camera footage shows an unarmed man with shaven head, able to seemingly kill people with a simple touch. Police investigation leads to the suspected identity of the murderer: middle-aged man named Tarō Yamada. When the police conduct a search of his apartment, they find the rotting corpse of a woman.
