1926, Turkey. Anatolia is undergoing a difficult and harsh process marked by turmoil and uncertainty. Alongside the decisive and conscious directives to establish the new infrastructure of the new Turkey, there are also examples of resistance that cause an unstoppable reaction and unhealed wounds. Amidst the political backdrop revealed by this process, which operates with the indifference of a broken clock, individual stories continue to unfold with all their human qualities, and personal conflicts persist in highlighting negativity.

Some time ago, Robert took some photos of military action which are now endangering his life. He is on the run from those who would find their publication damaging and is headed for Syria, where he believes he will be safe. While in Istanbul, he meets a pop singer, a woman half his age who gives him the erotic charge of his life. He begins taking film of their bedroom encounters and says some pretty excessive things about how marvelous she is to him. Meanwhile, his local friends don't trust or like him enough to help him stay in Istanbul, and it seems that he will have to continue onward in his journey to safety.

The film tells the story of a married woman’s secret affair. Biriçim is a married painter suffering from depression. She is unable to communicate with her husband and she has lost her inspiration. Ömer looks like her uncle and Biriçim feels close to him. This later turns into a secret love. However, the relationship that starts between two painters will change three people’s lives.
