Solitude and violence in the daily life of two men in Mexico City: Efraín, a violent ex-cop turned hit man, faces an existential crisis when he is given his next target: a seemingly harmless family man; Efraín will have to confront the decisions that have led him there, his loneliness and the threats of violence that he will come if he does not carry out the job. Elsewhere in the city, David, a man affected by a recent tragedy in his life, decides to cope with the solitary routine of pain by shutting himself up at home, until little by little he begins to descend into the despair of alcohol and the escapism that the window of his room gives him towards the outside world.
Fran and Paulo arrive in Cuernavaca for a weekend vacation, everything is happiness, love..., and also a lie, this is the past, just a memory. In the present, 3 years later, Fran and Paulo return to the place where they once were happy, trying to recover something that seems already lost.
Sara must continue with her daily routine while supporting René, her husband who is sick with terminal cancer.
Emilio and Patricia meet at a friends gathering, the attraction is instantaneous, however it is impossible: they are both in relationships. In spite of that, they will spend the rest of the night together, talking, observing, knowing that they cannot do anything else and that they will never be able to have anything else.
Christmas Eve, two friends, clerks of a mini supermarket, spend the night shift with games, beer and jokes, until their day is interrupted by a mugger willing to do anything for the money in the cash register.
