This film is based on his diaries, the correspondence with his family and friends, and the testimonies of those who knew him and accompanied him on this journey. The penultimate hero of the Cuban revolution travels to the depths of the jungle to meet his daughter before he loses his hearing entirely. On board a car, he crosses half the country.
