Maria João lives isolated with her father. Fearing she will catch the disease carried by the wind that killed her mother, the father does not allow her to leave the house. In exchange, he narrates stories of adventure to her. One night, an ex-soldier turned wanderer of peace, knocks on their door, in search of the woman he left behind before setting off to war, unaware that she is already gone.

Two friends cannot find their way around the city of Lisbon. It is a film, which could be a poem, that has no genre and serves as a bridge between the narratives, forms, and dreams of the characters they encounter.

Ramiro is a bookstore owner in Lisbon and a poet in perpetual creative block. He lives, somewhat frustrated, somewhat conformed, between his shop and the tavern, accompanied by his dog, his faithful drinking companions and his neighbors: a pregnant teenager and her grandmother recovering from a stroke. He would gladly continue living this quiet and somewhat anachronistic routine if events worthy of a soap opera did not invade his bubble.

Next to them are the Butlers - figures that compose the scenic space, essentially empty. In this adaptation of a literary work to the scene, the actors struggle with the movement of the words and their suitability for the drama. This film, instead of portraying the show creation process, sought a view from afar in order to enhance a point of view on the borders between art and life.

At the core of a royal court unbalanced by the long absence of its King, where women seem to have disappeared along with reason, the Crown Prince is murdered. Wrapped in the plot of the promoters of a decaying libertine spirit, the heir’s brothers, a pair of twins united by the music they play together and their Valet, witness a hunt for the prepetator launched by the palace doctor's deduction.
