Anna Seles (Hungarian Széles Anna, born August 24, 1942, Oradea, Romania) is a Hungarian and Romanian theater and cinema actress. In 1965 she graduated from the Theater Institute in Tirgu Mures. She played in the Hungarian Theater of Cluj-Napoca [ro] in plays by Shakespeare, Moliere, Goldoni, Gorky, Chekhov, Sigligeti. In the cinema - since 1963 ("Rest by the Sea"). She was shot by leading Romanian and Hungarian directors. Being an ethnic Hungarian, she often came to Hungary to film until she finally moved to her historical homeland in 1989.
