An astronaut exposed to cosmic rays outside of Saturn's rings returns to Earth and begins to melt away. Escaping from the hospital, he wanders around the backwoods looking for human flesh to eat.

A wealthy socialite is accused of killing her husband. She claims self-defense as a battered wife, and the district attorney plans to go along with that. However, an assistant district attorney files capital murder charges against her, as he believes she's not quite the innocent, abused wife she portrays herself to be. This was a pilot film for a proposed series that did not get picked up.

Terrorists launch an attack against the USA. Their first strike is by a suicide squad that detonates a truckload of explosives at an army base in Washington DC. FBI probes indicate that the attack is by Arab terrorists led by Iranians. Subsequent attacks are via airplanes exploded in mid-air, crowded restaurants, and an attack on a mall. Administration cabinet heads push the President to retaliate. The director of the FBI believes that there may be more to the story than the investigation has revealed and the Secretary of Defense is the only other person urging caution.
