After a contract fight somewhere in the open spaces of Russia between St. Petersburg and Moscow, the top Moscow football hooligans return home to the capital with a victory. On the way, their minibus breaks down, which has to be brought into service in the nearest unknown town called Popadaysk. They are forced to stay in this city for the night. At first glance, the usual provincial town, but it was not there. Its criminal authorities, its laws of the street, corrupt cops, its own fashion and style, and its secrets.
A dangerous patient escapes from a specialized psychiatric clinic — a former Soviet intelligence officer and traitor named Tsventukh. Once free, he begins to take revenge on Matveev, the man who put him behind bars. After losing first his wife, then his friends, Matveev realizes that from now on, he can rely only on himself.
The popular info gypsy Sveta Sun is imprisoned. To defend herself in court, she needs the petitions of those who have been helped by her training. But the general wave of haight leaves no hope for this. The only ones who can theoretically defend Sveta are her cellmates, but they do not believe in any sacred techniques.
