As time passes, personalities and bodies evolve in this thoughtful and elegiac indie drama about the everlasting bond of female friendship. Following the girls’ formative years from ages 9 through 13, we observe intimate details of their lives together and apart on vacations in New England and at home in California. At times, they struggle with body image, peer pressure, social awkwardness, and parental bonds. Yet at the end of the day, the girls have each other to lean on.

Set in the early 90s, Glitch Baby takes a quantum genre twist on the usual queer coming-of-age story when an unexpected show of affection on the soccer field leaves a young tomboy humiliated and questioning her place in the universe.

Produced for Glass Eye Pix as part of their 2018 Creepy Christmas Film Festival, in which each short is inspired by a holiday-themed word. This film, the sixteenth in the series, is inspired by the word "jingle bells."
