A young couple has lived together for five years, and they share daily lives even without passion or financial stability. One day, they learn that she’s pregnant, and start to consider how to plan their future.

The eldest daughter, Masami, who ran away from home three years ago and hadn't heard from her father and sister who run the ramen shop "Kogawa Shokudo" in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture, suddenly returns.

On a normal day, a stranger breaks into Sumire's apartment and assaults her. Sumire reacts incredibly calmly to the incident, but she still feels the dangers and uncertainties creeping upon her. All that seem to be peaceful and ordinary start to collapse. As everything slips toward the unexpected, Sumire starts writing again, and reinvestigating the relationships around her.

Among them is a special section called the "Guerror Division," which was set up solely for the purpose of making a breakthrough in the investigation. Personal feelings and morals are not required in their investigation. All that is required is an isolated and unaided forced investigation to improve the clearance rate. Hodaka (Yasukaze Motomiya), a detective in the guerrilla division, invites his junior colleague Ushijima (Ryohei Abe), who is on leave from work, to the guerrilla division in order to eliminate the yakuza organization "Kokuryukai," whose true situation cannot be ascertained.

When Ushijima, who was supposed to be a member of the guerrilla division and whose existence was not known, was targeted, he begins to suspect that there is a whistleblower.

A telephone call informs Ituski that his father has collapsed. He still cares, but father and son have not had the best of relationships. Ayumi is a professional mover and misses having a father. These men are unconnected and unrelated, but their pasts and states bind them through nothing more than a piece of paper.

Late one night, two women who work at a hostess bar are approached by police.

Despite working as a matchmaker, Sosuke is an awkward person. He works with Shion and they bicker over their different beliefs of love and marriage.
