The Bodiless Woman is an intervention film about the violence perpetuation and, above all, about the victim’s dignity and her deliverance.

A trainee apprentice meets a girl during the crossing the Tagus crossing and they live an adventure of suspicious smiles, misunderstood sentences and occasional robberies.

Her mother has just died. Her father is not what she had thought. Caught between an uncertain past, which she knows only through the photographs her mother has left behind, and the prospect of a marriage that she does not really want, Elisa sets out to discover the truth. But will she recognize it when she finds it?

Alice, a recently widowed director, is alone on her grief after her daughter leaves home. Alice clings to the only structure she has, a fragile foundation at risk of collapsing: an essay film project, about first loves, dependent on funding. Suddenly we enter in another dimension, another place and without prior notice we are in the film conceived by the director.

West, end of the summer. Laura works at the pear harvesting, a family business. During the afternoon, Carol arrives at the village to spend a few vacation days with her friends. That night, when Laura catches them stealing pears from one of her father’s orchards, her friend confronts her about her true intent.

Forty years later six ex-fighters, that had been together in the War in Africa, keep meeting. They know that, during those meetings, talking about the War is therapy to exorcize nightmares and ghosts. What keeps them alive is what destroyed them: Memories. Life has never been the same. They had twenty two years old when they met at the War. Time has stopped there. Today, they only exist when they are together.

Maria da Luz is almost blind. She's been waiting for cataract surgery for 3 years. António, an old fisherman, takes care of her, hiding the secret of an old love. Miguel, a mysterious boy, wanders through the city, watching daily for Maria's house. Luís, the mayor, seeks to solve the problem of hundreds of people with cataracts in the Municipality. Ana, Maria's daughter visits her mother. Despite their misfortune, they seek to redeem themselves under the eyes of António and Miguel. Maria da Luz is not alone.

This short film is based upon a book of tales "Exemplary Crimes" by Max Aub who, in his turn, was inspired by real testimonies that describe crimes straightforwardly. The Testimonies are individual confessions by different persons that have nothing in common but the fact that all committed murder.

A bad luck that should never have happened, sends Rodrigo into a coma that lasts five years. And when he wakes up, after so long haunted by the image of the woman who shot him at close range, he realizes that life has not stopped waiting for him, without realizing that everyone is lying to him. And that your best friend is getting ready to get you into trouble again.

The relationship between António and Ruth ends unexpectedly when Ruth decides to live with Pedro, António's best friend. António doesn't fight back and lets himself drown. From the woods come Violeta and Gaspar, two strange beings, a mixture of fairies, demons and guardian angels, who help António overcome his depression. With the thunders the two characters return to their domains. And life goes on.
