Maruo, an independent film director, feels that he doesn't want to have sex because he loves her, and because of this, he breaks up with his girlfriend Aki. Unable to find the answer himself, Maruo decides to meet her again to face that question. On the other hand, Aki is married to Tagashira, an office worker, but even though she wants to have children, she is worried about a sexless marital relationship.
