Siti Aminah Tjendrakasih (EYD: Aminah Cendrakasih) (January 29, 1938 – December 21, 2022)[1] was an Indonesian actress and model. Her name began to be known to the public when she starred in the films Serampang 12 (1956) and Asrama Dara (1958).

Sinta's father is dying. On his insistence, Sinta has to marry Roni, though she actually prefers Ricky. Initially, Sinta is grateful to have a husband who is willing to sacrifice for her father's hospital treatment. But Roni turns out to be a pimp, and Sinta is used and sold as a call girl aka “gadis telepon”. The situation becomes intolerable, when Roni's secret is revealed, that he has compromised other girls like Sinta. Sinta stabs her husband. Sinta repents her action in prison.

The film begins with a doctor explaining breast cancer and its detection methods. Then we learn that Kartika must have one of her breasts removed before the cancer spreads. To relieve her grief, she leaves for Switzerland, where she meets Maruli, a newly graduated doctor from Germany who works at a restaurant before going home. A romance occurs that results in marriage, even though his uncle does not agree with it, for the sake of a family tradition. After the marriage, Maruli is disappointed. He feels cheated after learning of Kartika’s breast removal. His mother is furious. He is reminded that his intention to study medicine is to help his mother, who was also left behind by her husband, Maruli's father, after her breast removal. He then returns to his wife, Kartika.
Dewi, who has many love problems with her boyfriends, falls into the arms of Dayan, her boss, who also has a problem after becoming a successful businessman. Director Arifin chooses a “poetic” style of telling the story so that the storyline follows the internal conflicts of the characters. The poetry is also characterized by slick photography.
One of the best Indonesian children’s films, distinguished by not being a fairytale as other films popular at the time, My Harmonica combines humour, mischief and naivety. Sani is an orphan who is raised by his grandmother in the village. His parents died when he was little. His teachers think that he can develop further if he goes to Jakarta to study. Reluctantly, Sani agrees. So in Jakarta, he stays with the younger sibling of his teacher, but he faces problems. The most intriguing part is his wish to have a harmonica, a new instrument that he has never seen before.
Lana and Joko are childhood friends. Joko has moved away from his family and chooses to live on his own, even in poverty. Lana, on the other hand, is tired of living with her rich family. They both fall in love with each other. Joko tries to write songs and succeeds. He becomes a rich man but also very superficial. Lembong, a robber, raises Ken Arok in a dark world after finding him in a cemetery as a baby. Due to his outrageous behaviour, Ken Arok is expelled and has to live with Bango Samparan. Even this does not last long, when the wife of Samparan takes a dislike to him. Then Ken Arok also becomes a fugitive of the Emperor since he often plunders royal tributes. One day, he meets a priest, Loh Gawe, who provides him with skills of leadership. Meanwhile, the Regent of Tumapel, Tunggul Ametung, kidnaps Ken Dedes to make her his wife. Then Ken Arok is recruited as a soldier of Tumapel. Inside the palace, he sees Ken Dedes and immediately falls in love. The bad intention to kill Tunggul Ametung comes to his mind. Since Loh Gawe does not agree with his intention, Ken Arok gets an approval from his adoptive father, Bango Samparan. Shortly after, he orders a keris (a wavy knife) from Empu Gandring, a famous blade smith.
