Ambika is an Indian film actress of the South Indian film industry. Her sister Radha was also an actress. Both of them acted in a number of south Indian films in 80s and they have a movie studio called "ARS Studios".

Produced at a shoe string budget of ₹ 5 lakhs, the film stars Ambika and Ravikumar in the lead roles. The film deals with the romance between a housemaid and the employer. It was remade with several changes in 2009 by Lal Jose with the same title.
