King Ferdinand of Sodonje (King Ferdinand Saronoff) is threatened with an attack. When a tourist who resembles him shows up at the palace, the king suggests that they switch clothes with each other. The fake king signs a document, and thereby signs his own death sentence. He manages to avoid the firing squad just in time, and asks for his own clothes back, but the real king refuses.

Parallel French-speaking version of Warners' "High Pressure" (1932), a comedy satire on fast-talking promoters, crazy inventors, and stock market hype. The story line comes from Kandel's stage play "Hot Money," which had played on Broadway a month or two in 1931, before Warners bought screen rights and changed the title.

She orders her publicity agent to find her a place to stay, suspicious that he planned the breakdown to keep her away from a man. However, she soon finds herself mooning over an attractive local repairman and listening to his ideas about inventing equipment for film.

A young lady named Hilda who works as a servant for the wealthy Clarksons, sheep farmers, and dreams of being a great singer. An upcoming visit by Sir Julian, a famous composer arriving from London, drives jealous Mrs. Clarkson (an interfering biddy who fancies she can sing - but can't) to send away Hilda, so he doesn't hear Hilda has a good voice. Meanwhile, an infamous outlaw named Stingaree has just arrived in town and kidnaps Sir Julian, then poses as him at the Clarksons, where he meets Hilda a few hours before she is to leave.

In another part of Paris and also afraid of marriage, Mignon (Ida Lupino) breaks it off from her young lover (James Blakely). Despairing, Mignon also climbs to the top of the The Eiffel Tower intending to leap to her death. There she meets Paul and the two compare stories. After discussion, Paul dissuades her from leaping and the two conspire to make their respective partners jealous by pretending to have an affair with each other.

A trio of American crooks board a ship bound for Europe, intending to get rid of $100,000 in stolen dough. With detective John Wade breathing down their necks, the crooks stash the loot in the trunk belonging to vacationing schoolmarm Mary Smith.
