The film, which brings Turkey's recent political agenda to the big screen, highlights the effects of recent events on the present day and their traces in political life. The coup, which took place on February 7, 2012, when Hakan Fidan, the Undersecretary of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), was summoned for questioning as a suspect in the KCK investigation, centers on the causes and consequences of the MİT crisis. The film will also address the placement of listening devices, known as "bugs," in the offices of some high-ranking officials, including the prime minister.

When his father, who went to Russia for work, could not send money home for a long time, Ahmet starts to work out the school at a mini-market in the luxury site, near the shanty neighbourhood here they live. Falling in love with his classmate Kezban, Ahmet decides to learn how to play basketball when he finds her interest in Erhan, who came to school one day with basketball quipments and clothes. However, there is an important problem to solve; there is no basketball spot in their neighbourhood where they can play basketball. Ahmet tries to find a way to overcome this barrier.

Having lost her husband, Sultan seeks remarriage to escape her loneliness. Despite her son's objections and her daughter's criticism that it's "too early," she is determined. To survive as a single woman, she breaks social norms, turns her house into a boarding house, opens a stall in the market, and enters male-dominated businesses. Her courageous stance inspires other women in the town and sparks the women's struggle for independence.
