Mei Tachibana is a high school student. Due to a traumatic incident when she was a kid, Mei has been unable to make friends or have boyfriends. By mistake, Mei then injures the most popular male student named Yamato Kurosawa. Somehow, Yamato Kurosawa likes Mei Tachibana and tells everyone unilaterally that Mei is his friend. One day, Yamato Kurosawa saves Mei Tachibana from a stalker by kissing her. From that kiss, their love story begins.

Shuichi and Rina are a twenty-something couple living together. Shuichi is working as a fiction editor for a book publisher, while Rina is unemployed, since she finds it hard to keep a job. When Shuichi's colleague runs away because of their terrible boss, Shuichi suddenly gets reassigned to work with Nishikawa, a stuck-up author who writes banal but popular self-help books. Rina gets hired to be his editor by complete chance, since Nishikawa ends up liking her out-of-the-box thinking. When Rina starts to succeed while Shuichi struggles, the problems in their relationship start to become apparent.

Yuka gathers the new landladies and holds an event featuring her favorite tap dance.

At the helm is Matsumoto Hana whose A Midsummer Dream was screened at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival 2015. One day, shy Hashiguchi Kai (Hayama Shono) is dumped by his girlfriend Saya (Hotta Akane). Meanwhile at work, he gets into an additional bind when he is ordered to transfer to a subsidiary. That subsidiary is a strange company which deals in romance consulting.

Two people meet each other after missing the last train home, leading to a beautiful relationship over five years.
