Polat is a young man beloved by the entire town. Bahar, the daughter of Deli Ömer, returns to the town after many years to be with her father. Bahar and Polat fall in love. Polat asks Bahar's father for her hand in marriage. However, Ömer has already promised his daughter to Sami, the son of Rasim, the richest man in town. Polat is looked down upon because he is poor.
