Antonio (Ricky Mergold) is a 16 year old boy from a village in the Mexican province, living the awakening of consciousness with the intensity of the contradictions that surround him: a dogmatic religion, mediocre educational institutions, corrupt politicians an a society full of conformity. His life changes when a young teacher with a genuine desire to teach their students comes to the town, a guide that encourages them to live with dignity and to be critical of the world around them. This story is full of drama and misadventures, which Antonio lives without proper orientation and promiscuity.

José, a taxi driver in Mexico City, loses his temper at the slightest thing. After causing a lot of trouble over a woman who doesn´t love him, he tries to take his own life. However, saved by a stranger, José learns his lesson and changes. He sets out to show the world and the woman he loves that he is not whom he used to be.

He is beaten when he is caught stealing, and is injured, walks through the city where he is almost run over. The driver of the car is Rogelio, Capo Guzmán's right hand. He picks up and heals "Güero" little by little and gains his affection. He invites him to work within the group of street children for the Capo organization.

When the authorities failed to help him out, a musician tries to find the thieves who stole his money creating the hashtag #Rats. This leads to people trying to find their own robbers and seek for justice on their own with the aid of social media.
