Stan, a director who, following a failed first film, had put an end to his career. During an appointment with his doctor, he learns that he only has 3 months left to live.

Maxime, a talented young actor with a promising future, has a great ambition to work at the very start of his career. One day he is lucky enough to find an opportunity to work on a new project by his favourite director, David Sunderbergh.
