Alex Notkin was born in St. Petersburg, Russia to a family of doctors. He graduated from The Russian State Institute of Performing Arts. His early career includes both theatre and film roles. He starred as Roland Cassard in Michel Legrand's musical "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg", The Author in "The Letters of Vertinsky", Alex Incub in crime TV series "Goodbye Makarov", Lt. Voytkevich in feature film "Dry Valley" , Detective Egor Mitrokhin in TV Series "I Believe Him", TV series "The Streets of the Shattered Lanterns", "Strange Neighborhood", "Liteyny, 4". In addition to his theatre and film works Alex became a renowned voice talent. He was cast to perform Russian Dubbing for the voices of: Christian Bale in "Terminator 4, Salvation", Sam Worthington in James Cameron's "Avatar", Colin Farrell in Disney's "Fright Night" and "Saving Mr. Banks", Benedict Cumberbatch in "The Fifth Estate". Alex Notkin came to the U.S. to pursue his acting career. He completed a 1 year Conservatory Program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, New York. His American Projects include Films and TV shows: Madam Secretary(CBS), The Americans(FX), The Punisher(Netflix), Gravesend(Amazon Prime). Alex Notkin is based in New York City since 2014.
